ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project "Support to Participation in EU Events - Management of a Travel Facility" is one of the long-term assistance sub-projects under the project "Support to the Quality Infrastructure in Turkey". It aims to support Turkey in its accession efforts to the EU, by facilitating transfer of know-how and best practice from European authorities, administrations and organisations to their Turkish counterparts by enabling the representatives and experts of Turkey to participate in meetings, workshops, conferences and other events regarding conformity assessment and market surveillance in the EU member states or in acceding countries.

The Guidelines are prepared in order to give an overview of the project and the procedures for application.

Mission Reports are prepared just after the event by each beneficiary to submit the results of the meeting/benefits derived. These reports should be prepared in English and submitted to SETUR.

Please note that since the termination of the Travel Facilities project is 13 June 2007, no activities later than this date is acceptable.

The beneficiaries should attach to their mission reports the programme of the event they are participating.

Please indicate clearly that you are benefiting from the travel facility of the Support to the Quality Infrastructure project. The travel agency will first check your name and approved event details and then proceed with arrangements.

Changes in the name of the participant or the event details will require the approval of the EC Delegation.

The travel facilities has been extended for another year until June 13th, 2007.
